While founding this project the starting point of ours was;
Introducing olive, which has taken place in many areas of human life throughout history and is a symbol of peace, and importance of olive to students.
We are planning to study with students between the ages of 12-19.
Our aims are;
-to improve 21st century skills
-to develop students’ ICT skills by using Web2.0 tools
- to develop language skills
-to increase students’ participation in remote learning
-to increase effectiveness of online classes
-to make eTwinning popular in schools
-to enhance learning environments
-to improve teamwork skills
-to teach symbolic meaning of olive through the centuries
-to make students be aware of the place of the olive in our lives
-to bridge Mediterranean cultures via olive tree
-to learn about history of olive
-to learn olives in different cultures
-to be aware of the different fields in which olive is used
According to me our project topic is very useful for raising awareness on subjects such as curriculum, environment, information technologies, communication skills, etc...
